Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Truthissick ("Truthissick", "we", "us", or "our") collects and uses information when you visit truthissick.tv (the "Website").

1. Who we are

Truthissick creates and publishes AI-assisted micro films and stories.

For privacy questions or requests concerning your personal information, contact us at:

Email: [email protected]

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Website, we may process the following information:

Email address

If you voluntarily join our notification or update list, we collect the email address you provide.

We use this information to send the updates or notifications you requested.

Technical and server information

When you visit the Website, our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information associated with your visit. This may include:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of a request;
  • requested pages or resources;
  • browser and device information;
  • technical and error information; and
  • information necessary to maintain the security and operation of the Website.

We use this information primarily to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Website.

Login information

If you use the Truthissick Studio, we may use a necessary login cookie or similar technology to maintain your authenticated session.

Studio login information is used for Studio access and is not used to identify or track people simply because they watch our public films.

Likes and comments

If you like an episode, we store that like against a random identifier in a cookie on your browser. The cookie lets the same browser like an episode once. It does not include your name.

If you post a comment, we store the name you type and the comment, and we show them on that episode. You can ask us to remove a comment by emailing the address above.

Share buttons open WhatsApp, Facebook, or X, or copy the page link. We count that a share button was used. We do not receive the message you send.

We also count how many times a series or episode page is opened, and how long the player is actually playing. Those totals use the same random browser cookie. They are shown in Studio for our own analysis. They are not shown on the public covers.

When the network provides a country with the visit, we store that country code so Studio can show regions. We do not store a street address. A browser that has signed in to Studio is marked with a cookie so those visits can be left out of the audience totals.

3. Videos and Cloudflare Stream

Our films may be delivered through Cloudflare Stream, a video delivery service operated by Cloudflare.

When you request a video, Cloudflare may process technical information, including information associated with the request, in order to deliver, secure and operate the video service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cloudflare's own privacy practices are described in its privacy documentation.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Website, including authentication, security, and remembering an episode like on this browser.

If we introduce analytics, advertising, personalization or other technologies that require additional consent, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, request consent before using those technologies.

5. Advertising

We may use third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense, if and when advertising is introduced on the Website.

When advertising is used, advertising providers may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons or similar technologies to deliver, measure or personalize advertising, subject to applicable law and the choices made by users.

Where required, we will provide an appropriate consent mechanism before using cookies or processing personal information for personalized advertising.

Information about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services is available through Google's published privacy information.

6. Why we process information

Depending on the circumstances, we process information for the following purposes:

  • providing and operating the Website;
  • delivering videos;
  • maintaining security and preventing abuse;
  • operating Studio accounts;
  • responding to requests;
  • sending notifications that users have requested;
  • showing likes and comments on episodes;
  • understanding and resolving technical problems; and
  • where applicable, providing and measuring advertising.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Where processing is necessary for the operation and security of the Website, we may rely on our legitimate interests or another lawful basis available under applicable data-protection law.

7. Email notifications

If you provide your email address to receive notifications, we use it for that purpose.

You may request removal from our notification list at any time by contacting:

[email protected]

We will remove your address unless we have another lawful reason to retain it.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as required by applicable law.

Notification-list email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, unless there is another lawful reason to retain them.

Technical and security logs may be retained for a limited period appropriate to security, troubleshooting and operational requirements.

9. Service providers and sharing

We may use third-party service providers to operate the Website. Depending on the services we use, these may include providers for:

  • website hosting and infrastructure;
  • video delivery;
  • email delivery;
  • payment processing;
  • security; and
  • advertising.

We share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary for them to provide their services or where required by law.

We do not sell personal information.

10. International data transfers

Some service providers we use may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where applicable, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers as required by applicable data-protection law.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;

Please do not submit personal information about a child through the Website.
